The second step in our R&D process is identifying the drug, studying its indications, and expanding the development project’s scope. This involves analyzing therapeutic potential, market viability, and client needs. By defining clear goals and exploring enhancements, we position each project for success from formulation to commercialization.
Here we focus on characterizing the elements involved, conducting stability studies, and performing compatibility testing. During this phase, we also develop the necessary analytical methods to ensure precise formulation and consistent quality, setting the foundation for successful product development.
Then we focus on designing the composition, optimizing the process, and fine-tuning key parameters. This stage is crucial for refining the formulation to meet both efficacy and manufacturability requirements, ensuring the product is ready for large-scale production.
Here we optimize the formulation, conduct process validation, and prepare for scale-up. This step ensures that the formulation is not only effective but also scalable, laying the groundwork for a smooth transition to full commercial production.
Following this is the Analytical Development stage, where we conduct detailed analytical studies on the formulation, perform comprehensive stability testing, and carry out Analytical Method Validations (AMVs). This stage is essential for ensuring the formulation meets all quality, safety, and regulatory standards before moving into full-scale production.
Then we optimize our processes for larger production, adapt the formula for commercial manufacturing, and conduct batch validation. This phase ensures that the formulation is ready for consistent, high-quality commercial production, setting the stage for market launch.
The final step is going commercial, where we either proceed with tech transfer, contract manufacturing, packaging, or move forward with clinical studies. This stage is tailored to the project’s specific needs, ensuring a successful market launch or further development, depending on the chosen pathway.
